mr ang, the measurement is so confusing. i m confused at the "dm" and the vernier calipers.

Dear Belinda, the unit "dm" consists of a prefix "deci" and the SI base unit "metre".
It means decimetre. 1 dm = 1/10 m or 0.1 m or 10^-1 m
"^" is used to represent "to the power of" the number after it.

Dear term 2 classes, to keep things better organized, go to Term 2 main page:
1. Post questions on topic under each topic, e.g. "1.1 Measurement & Unit"
2. Post questions on Worksheet or Assignment under e.g. "WS 1.1, AS 1.1"

1. Links on the left under each topic (lead to pages) are for u to post questions related to those topics
2. Links on the right (lead to pages) are for u to post questions related to specific Worksheets (WS) and Assignments (AS) related to topics on the left.
3. Post comments/questions under each relevant page, for better focus of topic and easy followup.
